The internet can be a truly magical place at times. You have access to almost everything recorded or documented in the history of humans right at the tips of your fingers. A truly vast wealth of information and entertainment that you could literally spend your entire life on and never even get close to reaching the end.

The other side of the internet can be a dark and dangerous place. From illegal websites and products to harmful ideology and disinformation, there are also plenty of ways to get yourself in trouble online.

Getting your feelings hurt is also one of those things that pretty much everyone who uses the internet should be prepared for. From having your comments, thoughts, and ideas mocked and ridiculed to just getting roasted when you share private information or images.

These poor saps found that out the hard way after they asked users in Reddit's /r/roastme community to take a look at their photos and do their worst. While it's all done in a voluntary and playful manner, there's no denying that some of these probably left a mark when certain comments hit a little too close to home.
